Hi! My name is Vanessa and I am a cake artist based in the Los Angeles, CA area providing tasty and decadent cakes and desserts to Southern California sweet tooths (teeth??)
My passion for cake started later in life… although I’ve loved sweets all my life!
Growing up in Germany and being Filipino… my sweet tooth wasn’t used to sweet American baked goods (with the the exception of Lemon Bars and Bear Claws…yummm). With that in mind, I began my cake career by making smash cakes for a pair of special 1-year-olds who ended up on a sugar high (sorry parents!). It became my passion to create delicious cakes where your cake experience isn’t just about sweetness, but an overall well rounded flavor profile…all without killing your taste buds with sugar! I attended the Baking and Cake Art Academy with Chef Susan Holtz and learned from one of the best in the industry.
Now, it is my mission to provide my clients with beautiful, quality (and down right delicious) cakes and sweets for any occasion!
