How do I cut this thing?

Ok now that you and everyone else has taken their fill of pictures of and with the cake…now what? Cake cutting can be a little intimidating (ok, maybe A LOT intimidating), but don’t worry, I got you! Below is a great cake cutting guide to help you cut your cake and finally get your sugar on!

Here are a few helpful hints:

  • Use a serrated knife.

  • Place a cutting board against the cake while you cut across it. That way, it will fall onto the cutting board and you can cut the individual rectangle pieces directly.

  • Wipe your knife after each cut. Cutting cake can get messy and wiping the knife after each cut keeps your slices nice and neat.
